Power Yoga for AthletesThis heat-building, high energy flow class will strengthen and balance your muscles, increase your range of motion, and enhance lung capacity through powerful breathing techniques! The sequences focus on hips and hamstrings.
Yin YogaA deep practice focusing on breath and stillness. Poses are held for several minutes to release tension and stress stored in the connective tissues in the lower body specifically the hips and hamstrings. This is a perfect complement to a vinyasa practice.

Join Sherry Rubin and Nancy Murphy for a Restorative Workshop. Explore restorative poses for healing and deep relaxation. Includes a guided Yoga Nidra.
Sherry Rubin, LCSW, E-RYT 200, has been practicing both yoga and psychotherapy for over thirty years. She focuses on how yoga helps to reduce stress, manage moods and regulate the autonomic nervous system. She offers classes in restorative yoga, yoga nidra and LifeForce Yoga (R). She has trained with Richard Miller in iRest Yoga Nidra, Jennifer Reis in Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra, Judy Curiel and Jillian Pransky in Restorative Yoga, and with Amy Weintraub in LifeForce Yoga (R). She has been assisting and teaching nationally with Amy Weintraub since 2008, and is a Mentor for the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute.
Nancy Murphy began practicing yoga in 2005. From the first yoga practice, yoga became her "drug of choice" for maintaining a healthy body and quieting a busy neurotic mind. Nancy has a regular yoga asana practice that includes gentle hatha yoga, restorative yoga, and Baptiste style power yoga. She completed her first 200 hour teacher training in 2013 in hatha yoga and soon began teaching gentle yoga for rounded bodies and restorative yoga in 2013 at the Spirit of Yoga in West Chester, In 2015 she completed an additional 200 hour training at Seva Yoga in Baptiste Power Yoga. She strongly believes in the healing and transformative qualities of a regular yoga practice, and that yoga is for Every Body not just for the fit and flexible.She came to teacher training as a mature (a.k.a older) adult. Being a yoga teacher is Nancy's 2nd Act after a long career in biotechnology.
At Seva Power Yoga, we believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone, especially students. Our student class rate is $10.
Additionally, we offer donation-based classes to students at the following times: Monday 12pm, Wednesday 12pm, Thursday 12pm & 4pm, and Friday 12pm.
